Uganda – Busia

Apostle of Grace Mission Church – Francis Makoha & Wife Tapista Makoha

There are more than 2.5 million orphaned Children in Uganda. Majority of them have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and several are suffering the same disease. For many each day is a fight just to survive. Struggle, hardship and despair is all that these children know of the world they live in. They life in awful conditions, are often faced with death and hold little hope for the future.

Francis is the face and the voice of these children. According to Christ the worth of one soul and life of just one of these little children is “More than all the wealth in all the world,”  Jesus said in the Gospels “Suffer  The little Children to come unto me.”

Under the Vision of the late Founder of NTM, Dr Neil Thomas, NTM established an orphanage in the district of Busia, Uganda.

On the 23rd of May, 2011, Grace Mission Primary School and Orphanage officially opened and since then has continued to grow with approximately 280 children currently being sponsored. Here the children are provided three meals a day, accommodation and education. As a result, these children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential and live a

life full of hope, safety and joy.

We would like to thank our friends and partners for their generosity in making it possible for these orphans to be educated, clothed in their uniforms, fed and accommodated.

In addition to the establishment of the Orphanage, NTM has also has also funded the construction of four (4) water wells making clean water available to the children and the neighbouring people of Busia.

The Ugandan school education program is under the care of International President Peter Thomas who, together with local leadership, oversees the school program.

There are still children in need of food, shelter and education, all of which can be provided through our sponsorship program. Please prayerfully consider giving a child the opportunities and future they deserve and visit SPONSOR AN ORPHAN page.
